How long does a henna cone last?
One cone is enough henna for about 15-20 medium size henna tattoos. Our cones last for 3 – 4 months on the shelf or up to 6 months when kept in the refrigerator.
Should you keep henna cones in the fridge?
As henna is a plant, the henna paste we create is perishable and can only be stored in the refrigerator or freezer until use. If left on a shelf at room temperature it can last for a day at most before the quality of the paste begins to deteriorate, thus affecting it’s consistency and staining quality.
Does mehendi expire?
The answer is yes! Although an expired Henna (Mehndi) does not have any hazard but the most significant negative outcome is its color. So, it is highly recommended that you should use your Henna (Mehndi) within 2-3 months after you buy it. Another important point is not to keep the Henna (Mehndi) powder in open air.
Why is my henna cone not working?
This is generally because the skin was not clean when the henna was applied. Lotions, sweat, hair products, and anything else on the skin will be a barrier between the skin cells and henna causing a lighter henna stain. Make sure the skin is completely clean before applying henna.

Let the mixture sit for 2 days. After that mix the extra water in the Henna paste to make it slightly watery ( thinner then the toothpaste). Wear disposable gloves and a garment that you can afford to discard ( or use for Henna only).
